The tour we propose concerns hidden and unpopular places in Rome, which know how to fascinate and amaze everyone. The Golf Cart Tour will make you discover interesting gems such as the Casina delle Civette between liberty, esotericism and magic; the Coppedè district, one of the most surprising, evocative and cinematic places in Rome, made up of 17 villas and 26 buildings, located within the Trieste district, unmissable for architecture lovers. On your way to the town of Tivoli, you encounter your first stop. This is Villa Adriana, which belonged to the Roman emperor Hadrian. This villa is another proof of Roman geniusness in architecture. Emperor Hadrian ordered the construction of this villa between 118 and 138 b.C and even helped design the building. In fact, he was a very skilled architect so him helping out with the designing of buildings was not an exception. Hadrian was ahead of his time, so the villa is full of architectural innovations. At the time this villa had the purpose of amazing and pleasing his guests, nowadays it astonishes the visitors.

After the visit of Villa Adriana, you drive straight to the town of Tivoli. Over there, you will pay a visit to the enchanting Villa d’Este. Next to the beautiful architecture, you will also find lush gardens and impressive fountains. Cardinal Ippolito II d’Este gave the order to build the mansion in 1550. Famous for its artistic wonders, the villa immerses you in an ancient world full of water spectacles. In the magical gardens, you encounter lots of fountains, caves, and nymphaeums. These are monuments in honor of the nymphs (ancient Greek mythological beings), especially the ones of spring. The monuments are natural caves that were the homes of the nymphs. This garden is a mix of architectural styles, and you will find Mannerist (Late Renaissance) and Baroque styles.
